Rita Doughaily is an Optometrist with a Bachelor of Science in Optometry & Vision Science from the Modern University of Business and Science (MUBS) and is pursuing a Master degree of Science in Healthcare Management with a focus on Quality and Technology at the Lebanese University.

Her expertise includes refraction, fitting of soft and hard contact lenses, and progressive lenses, with specialized experience in eye prosthetics. She contributed to a peer-reviewed study on Risk Factors for Symptomatic Dry Eye Disease in the Middle East and has engaged in various professional development activities through congresses, webinars, and conferences.

She is actively involved in vision screening campaigns organized by Vision Care Association (VCA) and the National Wellness Network by MUBS, benefiting schools and clinics across Lebanon. Additionally, she serves as the Public Relations Coordinator for VCA, where she enhances the organization’s visibility and engages with stakeholders to promote its initiatives.
