Core competencies for the eye health workforce in the WHO African Region
The competencies framework can be used as a guide for self-directed learning, as an advocacy tool, and for assessments. There will also be a broad range of users of the competencies including Educational institutions; Learners of eye health; Professional associations; Licensing and regulatory bodies and; Policymakers, e.g., ministries for health and education.
